Membership Policies

This information is important reading for all members of PNA. You are urged to review this material closely. If you have any questions about our policies, please contact a member of the membership committee.

PNA’s Philosophy

Success in PNA means you need to be a positive and supportive member of our organization. This requires commitment to your fellow members as well as to the philosophy of giving business to others and you will receive business in return.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to maintain and grow the group with driven, like-minded individuals by supporting our members with referrals, while seeking opportunities for the group to flourish. This is supported in a structured setting that empowers each other businesses with confidence towards our goals.

Attendance

Attendance is particularly important to building relationships and understanding each members business; therefore, attending the group’s weekly meeting, arriving on time, staying through the entire length of the meeting, and actively participating in the meeting is a must.

Absences & Tardiness

Absences and tardiness mean less business for members; therefore, the Membership Committee may give warnings to members who are consistently late or leave early. If the problem continues, the member’s classification may be subject to being opened by the Membership Committee.

Substitute Program

The primary purpose for a substitute is to represent a PNA member. PNA recommends minimal use of a substitute. However, a member may use substitutes up to three times a year.

The group should be aware that a substitute will be attending the meeting. The Visitor Host should be there to greet the substitute and welcome him/her to the meeting. People to consider for substitutes include: your customers, clients, friends, family and/or employees.

Multi-Level Marketing (MLM)

Multi-level marketing members of PNA should represent their products and services in PNA and not the business opportunity element of their business.

Where The Money Goes

The annual membership dues collected by PNA are used for expenses such as website, database storage, digital marketing, office supplies, event hosting costs, and charitable causes.

Conflict Resolution

When the Membership Committee receives complaints (or notices) about a member’s bad referrals, policy violation or failure to uphold PNA’s policies and mission, the Membership Committee is to act. If the quality of a member’s service or professionalism is in serious question or the Membership Committee learns information that it believes impacts the referability of a Member, the Membership Committee will follow the complaint process.

Leadership & Other Committees

All members of the group will need to participate in various committees or other positions throughout their membership. It is necessary for the growth of our group that everyone participates in various roles. Each year the leadership team and committee assignments change, giving everyone an opportunity to participate in different levels of activity.

This document will be updated from time to time, and it is the member’s responsibility to read and understand any and all changes to the PNA polices.
