How to Renew Your Membership

Approximately 60 days before a renewal date, the membership committee will send an email to the member who is eligible for renewal indicating that their term expiration is approaching.

Once the member receives this email, they should complete the membership renewal form to indicate their desire to renew (or not to renew) and to provide valuable feedback to the Professional Networking Alliance on what the group can do to help grow the members business in the following year.

If a member indicates that they wish to renew, the membership committee will send out an email to all active members soliciting feedback using the member feedback form.  The membership committee will also schedule interviews with the renewing member to discuss the member’s performance over the past 12 months, information provided on the renewal form, and feedback provided by other members. After the interview(s) are conducted the membership committee will make a recommendation to the president as to whether the member should be approved or rejected for another year of membership.

Please note that renewals are not automatic, nor are renewals a formality.  Members may be rejected during the renewal process for any number of reasons, including but not limited to, violations of the code of conduct, negative feedback from other members, or any other criteria as determined by the membership committee. The membership committee may accept a renewal, reject a renewal, or renew a member on a probationary basis.

The membership committee will inform the president of their decision and suggest to the president and the president (or someone designated as a delegate by the president) will inform the member of the decision. If the member’s renewal is accepted, the treasurer will send an invoice to the renewing member for their annual dues. Once the invoice is paid the member will be officially considered as a renewed member and the group at large will be notified that that the member’s renewal is complete.

Completion and/or submission of the membership renewal form does not guarantee a renewing member membership on the Professional Networking Alliance, nor does it create a contractual obligation between the two parties.

Payment of annual dues after acceptance of the renewing member is nonrefundable as soon as payment is made, even if the renews member leave the group for any reason within the following twelve (12) months of membership.
